Deer season opened yesterday. For those that find shooting lil' Bambi far too difficult, Taser offers you another option. You'll just have to wait until next year, and work for the Department of Defense. No sweat, right?
Now in the final stages of development (for the Pentagon, of course), comes a long-range Taser. The weapon, known as a Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation or HEMI device, can be fired from a standard 40-millimetre grenade launcher. The target can be tens of meters away. So you can enjoy the thrill of the hunt without actually killing the deer. Which on second thought, kinda defeats the whole purpose.
The folks at Taser still haven't worked out some vital points: a) since the weapon is shot from a distance, they're concerned about the impact it will deliver, and b) since the whole idea is the render someone or something incapacitated, the duration of the shock is also a worry.
Who cares!!! You can shoot it from a freakin' grenade launcher! Bombs away!

SundayBreaker: Don't want to actually kill the deer? Use a grenade launcher instead

3 Gator-baiters:
Deer should be treated like the varmits they are. They are the number one cause of auto crashes involving animals and the number one cause of fatalities in single car wrecks. Not to mention the diseases they carry. The meat is tough, stringy and probably contaminated by certain bacteria and worm infestations. As far as I'm concerned, they should be mowed down with machine guns. They no longer have enough natural predators to keep their numbers in check in the natural order of things and they are carriers of diseases that infect and kill farmed livestock.
I don't see any skill needed to shoot a deer in your flower garden.
Anne is a total hair brained, nut case, rat faced goatherder. I bet if she were GOD, she would have created nothing but little lame brained Annes, but who then would eat her flower garden. Probably those little rat faced goatherding little ANNES.
Oh anoymouse,
To quote former prez Reagan, "There you go again!" The creative writing class didn't really rub off on you, did it. I'll pray for you.
